P A C K W A L K S

Dogs are pack animals and there are few activities that better serve their mental and physical well-being than an adventure with their canine pals! These group outings are designed to provide your pup with lots of physical and social stimulus. Using a balanced training approach, our handlers will work with you and your dog to establish proper leash walking and social skills while also solidifying commands like sit, down, stay and learning to wait for a release cue. These skills will be continually practiced and sharpened in their weekly+ walks!

Pack Walks are offered Monday through Friday.

Pickup times are between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, depending on your location. Dogs spend approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours on their outing, with the duration adjusted based on weather and heat conditions.

Each pack is thoughtfully divided into smaller walking groups based on each dog's temperament, energy level, and walking ability. In addition to walking, dogs enjoy plenty of time to sniff and explore, practice basic obedience skills like sit and down stays, and build confidence through safe socialization in new environments.

All dogs are dropped off between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, returning home happy, fulfilled, and ready for a well-earned nap.

PRICING FOR PACKWALKS:

4–5 days/week: $42 per day

2–3 days/week: $44 per day

1 day/week: $46 per day

Drop-in: $54 per day, based on availability

Every service offered by OC Lucky Dogs is designed to promote obedience skills in each dog. Before your dog enters the walking program, we help you fine tune the basics, then put in the time for you to upkeep your dog’s behavior every day, on every outing. This program will provide your pup with the structure, consistency and exercise it needs to be a well-behaved member of the human and canine society!

What skills do we require for packwalks?

  • Sitting and laying down on cue

  • Waiting for a release cue (we use “break”)

  • Walking nicely beside or behind us on leash (no pulling)

  • Entering and exiting homes, gates and cars politely

  • Passing other dogs without reacting

  • Attentiveness and recall

While your pup doesn’t need to have these skills mastered, they do need a little practice beforehand if they haven’t already had it— So that we can safely integrate them into the pack and have positive behaviors to build on every time they are with us.

If you’re looking for Obedience Training alone, not pack walks, we have packages for that as well! Please see Obedience Training Page under services tab, or simply apply to via “Get Started” button below to learn more!
